I have long admired Tom's ability to combine insightful social and political commentary with a refreshing humour. His passion for his community and his keen understanding of the issues facing ordinary people make his voice stand out. In my years in politics and public life I have rarely seen someone with Tom's talents and vision. He will be a powerful voice for Guelph.

Tom King is a candidate who is committed to representing all walks of life, and that includes the diverse group of students and youth in Guelph. He has shown that issues that are so important to us, the youth and future of this country, are important to him, and need to be fought for. The environment, womens' rights, aboriginal rights, tuition, poverty, etc, are in desperate need of attention, need to be talked about and acted on now. Tom is ready to do just that! I'm excited to work for Tom on campus and in the youth community of Guelph, and send this incredible man to Ottawa!

I have had the chance to read and listen to Tom King and have benefited greatly in each instance. The lucid and compassionate way he delivered his narrative revealed a person still engaging with his own writing, his own beliefs. A potential leader with the ability to speak or write his conviction, without the fear and recalcitrance to reconsider them. He writes about adaptability, the confluence of stories and ideas, and I know his leadership would embody a system of beliefs that would benefit all.
